Local 117 Secretary-Treasurer Tracey A. Thompson will serve as a Trustee on the Executive Board for Joint Council 28, the parent body of twelve Teamster Locals representing approximately 56,000 union members across Washington State, Alaska, and northern Idaho.

Thompson and the six other Executive Board members were sworn in at a ceremony marking the 100th Anniversary of Joint Council 28 on September 15 in Wenatchee.

“Our strength as Teamsters lies in our ability to join together as one Union in solidarity and rise to the defense of working people,” Thompson said.
